Wilderness Magashi

• Diverse and localized wildlife species: topi and Defassa waterbuck, Masai giraffes, as well as rhinos, buffalos, elephants, lions and leopards, hippos, and even occasionally the rare shoebill.
Wilderness Sabyinyo
• Sabyinyo is located conveniently close to Volcanoes National Park, where guests trek habituated mountain gorillas.
• The golden monkey trek starts just five minutes from Sabyinyo. While registrations for all treks take place at Volcanoes National Park headquarters, guests’ return to the lodge is quick and easy after the trek.
• With the majority of staff hailing from the local community – many of whom have spent up to 15 years working here – the camp is known for its humble, warm, and authentic hospitality.
