Why Botswana?

Beautifully described as the “Wetland Desert”, Botswana is a wildlife haven for a reason. The vast Kalahari sands cover the infinitely flat, arid country, with very few people and hundreds and hundreds of miles of unspoiled wilderness country.

It is here where a remaining few of the San people still reside, and where you can meet and learn from these Elders of the World as they track and read the signs of the bush, to ensure their ancient traditions and ways are still being maintained.

From the arid Central Kalahari Game Reserve to the Wetland paradise of the Okavango Delta, be mesmerized with this country’s vast open skies, vistas and game densities. Explore the region by air or by mokoro (wooden dugout canoe).

“The only man I envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa – for he has so much to look forward to.”* -  Richard Mullin
